MAS DE L'ORATOIRE

Authentic Mas in Provence

IMG Facade face.JPG

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

Mas de l'Oratoire is an authentic stone-built five-bedroom farmhouse set in a five-hectare (twelve-acre) property situated at the foot of the Monts du Vaucluse in Provence.

The property consists of meadows, woods (holm oaks, pine and olive trees), orchards (including pomegranate, persimmon, fig, apple, pear) and a small vineyard (producing a variety of red and white grapes for eating). You will also enjoy the scents of an abundance of plants such as rosemary, lavender, wild thyme and cistus.

The property is situated  a mere five minutes by car from the idyllic small walled town of Pernes les Fontaines with its vibrant weekly year-round market, which boasts forty fountains, and  is twelve minutes from the well-known town of l'Isle sur la Sorgue with its antiques markets, restaurants, art galleries and shops. The summer also brings a fabulous selection of open-air concerts, operas and theatres in Avignon.

Mas de l'Oratoire is a perfect base from which to explore the local region ranging from the Mont Ventoux and its local vineyards, the beautiful village of Roussillon with its ocre-coloured soil, Venasque, Goult, Gordes, the famous Abbaye de Sénanque, to the Avignon papal palaces ...

In the summer you can relax by the large swimming pool and enjoy the huge garden.
